We are getting ready to move. On or about the 23rd of this month JonNe' and four other boats are heading up the coast. At this moment we are planning on heading to Ft. Lauderdale then over to West End. That is still up in the air. Problem is we are the only boat with a 6' draft. The other boats are planning on going up the Icw through Key Biscayne. We also have a mast 63' high which also limits our ability to get under some of the bridges. Because of th at, we will ave to go up the outside again. We will probably just meet everyone in Ft. Lauderdale. Their plan is to go to the Abocos in the Northern Bahamas. We may not reach the Exumas til later. This should be a fun trip. In the meantime, we are working on cleaning up the boat. We have a list of things to do this week that include:
Deep cleaning the boat
Re-fix the stern nav light
Install secure latch under the table
Screws for settee
Latches on lockers behind cushions
Find lock bar for dinghy motor
Clean bottom of dinghy
Make mooring ball tethers
Install hasp and lock on one locker for gun
Count ammunition
Mount American flag
Tie down life raft
Any way I am sure there are many other items we will have to do, but for right now those our issues.
Come down for sundowners tonight! CYA then
JonNe'
